Georgina and Anjanette took 2 classes back to back teaching the Ausungate grade 5 students about the UK. Georgina had them running into the 4 corners of the room for England Wales Ireland and Scotland, we showed them photos of the UK, explained about a typical school day in the UK and dressed up in welsh and scottish clothes! We hope to establish a link between the children and a school where Georgina works in England! Interestingly none of the Peruvian children knew where the UK is on a world map,nor had many of them heard of David Beckham!
