Huambutuio Soap Project
We visited the preschool in Huambutio and taught the children about the importance of hand washing today.
The children listened to a fun story about germs and parasites (! ) and then participated in a hand washing demonstration before receiving a bar of hand made soap each.
This is the first of many health education talks we will be doing in the community and in the future we are considering holding a community workshop on how to make hand made soap.
