To celebrate Scott's birthday our friends in Yucay got him a cake, we sang happy birthday in Quechua English and Spanish. In true peruvian tradition he had to bite the cake while it was pushed in his face but a new tradition to us from Yucay is to smash an egg ( then sometimes add flour) on your head, they then sprinkled yellow petals on our heads!!
