Instead of the normal ladies bible study gathering that happens at our house on a Wednesday night the church ladies and a few men and children appeared with food and gifts,we had great fun celebrating Anjanette's birthday! She was grateful that when she bit the cake they didn't shove it in her face however any vague feeling of calmness and serenity soon disappeared once they decided to teach her how to dance Huayno , traditional andean dance! We are so grateful for the loving church family we have here in Peru , it was such a joy to celebrate with them.
