This week Scott had the privilege of walking the Inca Trail. The rest of the family went to meet him at Machu
Picchu at the end which was very exciting since it was Jess and Sam's
first time there.
We are so proud of him walking for 4
days at high altitude, he really enjoyed it and describes it as a very
spiritual experience, having a lot of time to pray and reflect as well
as appreciate God's amazing creation while he was hiking up the
mountains!
He even has the T Shirt to prove that he did it!

Fun with the family
We are having a terrific time with Anjanette's sister and her family visiting us. The thing we miss most about the UK is always family and friends, so it is wonderful to be able to share our lives in Cusco with them . We have introduced them to our friends and work colleagues here in Cusco but one of our favourite activities has been enjoying God's beautiful creation together.

Good Friday at the regional hospital
A few of us from El Puente joined the tour agency SAS Travel in a special lunch in the grounds of the regional hospital where we shared the Easter message and sang some songs. The relatives of patients who live in the campo (countryside) far away from Cusco received a delicious nutritious meal. It was a privilege to be involved in these celebrations.

And the work begins........
We plan to completely destroy the existing adobe house before we begin the construction.
We are so grateful to our amazing provider God for all that he is doing at El Puente Iglesia.

Choclito
We have enjoyed harvesting the corn we grew in our garden. Maize is one of the staple foods here in the mountains and right now it is readily available in the shops, markets and in the streets! Our Columbian friend also taught us
how to make tamales and you can see Sam grinding the corn in one of the photos.

The Eye Clinic is now open!
Over the last 4 years since Anjanette has been working at the La Fuente Clinic in Cusco she has seen some huge changes. When she first started there the only services on offer were family medicine and paediatrics. Over the last few years we have added dentistry psychology physiotherapy and recently we have opened a commercial pharmacy.
This weekend we celebrated the inauguration of the Eye Clinic. Luz de Vida is an eye clinic built next to the La Fuente clinic run by our good friend and opthalmologist Nathan. What a wonderful service to now offer to patients, the staff at the eye clinic explain to the patients how God can restore sight from spiritual as well as physical blindness and we are so delighted to celebrate the latest addition to the services we can now offer our patients.
Please join us in thanking God for this amazing new clinic and the dedicated staff who work there .
